Mon-Thurs Accelerator Scheduling Meeting
9 AM Meeting (24 May 2017)

Linac

  • Running well. Some source sparking. Possibly swap sources tomorrow. Laser notcher install tomorrow. Station #5 switch from Marx mod to old modulator.
Booster
  • Working on transverse dampers on study pulses. Minor BRF11 trip last night, bias supply. Preping for tomorrow's access.
Booster Neutrino
  • Running well.
BNB Experiments
  • ANNIE running well. Yesterday upgraded their DAQ with LED light injection trigger. Microboone cryo system starting to stabilize.
Main Injector & Recycler
  • A lot of work planned for tomorrow's access, at least 8 hrs. Would like to do RGA scan with septa on. (requires ctrl access keys to be returned.) Suggesting other tunnel work to be allowed only afterwards. (i.e. in the afternoon.)
NuMI
  • Running well. V108 tripped on LCW differential pressure high.
NuMI Experiments
  • Running well.
Muon Rings
  • All PS's in M5 line on. Beam went all the way to the end of the line. Will take beam later today. During tomorrow's access will look at extraction instrumentation & motion control devices.
Muon Ring Experiments:Problem with first magnet in string, the inflector, getting it back on line. For the record "The accelerator was ready before the experiment."SY120
  • Running well.
SY120 Experiments
  • Seaquest running well. MC locked off critical devices for more open access for swaping out wire planes. Mtest doing well.

  • Topped of MI-62 LCW.

  • Need work order for MI-40 LCW pump MCC repair.

  • Running well & ready for tomorrows access.

  • 95 LCW system pressure regulation investigation.

  • Went over worklist for tomorrow's access. Added SY, Transferhall & F sector to shutdown. Maybe MI-10 also. Limit MI access in morning to vacuum work. Other MI access in the afternoon.
