Linac

  • Performed an Einzel lens study on Friday during the MI access.
  • There was a problem with node LIP614 and controls people came in and fixed it.
Booster
  • Took advantage of the MI access on Friday to do some studies needed before the shutdown.
  • BRF9 tripped off during the weekend, requiring running at slightly reduced intensity.
  • BRF12 tripped off Monday morning but BRF9 was brought back online.
  • Request time for Kiyomi's cogging/notching studies and Chandra's 1-shot studies.
  • All RF is now back on and intensity is back up to normal.
  • RF guys could take advantage of 30-60 minutes of downtime to do some additional diagnosis.
Booster Neutrino
  • Running well.
BNB Experiments
  • Running well.
Main Injector & Recycler
  • Accessed on Friday to repair two RRRF stations and performed a rad survey.
  • One of the BLM HV supplies began alarming on Saturday morning and was drawing excessive current when operated at its nominal 2KV value so it was reduced to 1KV.
  • RRRF2 developed problems Sunday morning and an access was made to effect repairs.
  • Revovery from the access was delayed by VCB problems and EE Support people came in.
NuMI
  • Water group located the water leak during the access on Friday in Pre-target. It will require a ~5 hour downtime to repair.
Muon Rings
  • Ran beam to MC-1 over the weekend. There was an interruption due to a problem with a target air blower.
  • Today plan to do round 2 of the M1 chipmunk TLM studies.
Muon Experiments
  • Running well.
SY120
  • Running well.
SY120 Experiments
  • Mtest Ice Cube is running well.
  • SeaQuest is running well.
  • LAriat is having problems with the TPC and they expect the repair will be complete on Friday.
EE Support
  • During Friday's downtime the SEXV PS interlock issue was repaired.
  • MI60 VCB had problems over the weekend and techs came in to address it. MI30 VCB also popped open at one point.
  • MT5EL PLC had to be rebooted with modified code.
Fluids
  • Klystron debuncher water skid had a problem on Sunday with a leak on pump #2, so pump #1 was swapped in.
  • NuMi water leak was located at magnet Q115. A temporary repair will take 5 hours but a full repair will take a shift.
RF
  • Accessed MI on Friday and got stations 4 and 10 back up.
  • RRRF fan failed on Sunday and it was replaced.
MTA
  • Vacuumed out the beamline on Friday and are awaiting analysis of samples.
Controls
  • Linac node problem was traced to a VME processor board, which was replaced.
FESS
  • Wilson Hall power was out this weekend for maintenance.
  • CUB muck recovery is progressing.
