AD Weekly Friday - 2017 Scheduling Meeting/Weekly Summary (23 Jun 2017)

Linac

• Running well.

Booster

• Running well but down 1 RF station.
• Would like to change the modulator on station 9 today to have it for the weekend.
• Laser Notcher/Cogging studies were done yesterday. Plan to do more this afternoon.
• Next week request some end of run studies.
• Next Tuesday plan to work on RF station 21 during the maintenance period.

Main Injector & Recycler

• RUnning well.
• Last Friday made an access to fix RF stations 4 and 10 and do a rad survey. Turn-on was delayed by problems with MI60 VCB.
• Accessed on Sunday to fix RRRF2 and investigate a problem with BLM high voltage in MI10 region.
• Would like to access next Tuesday to repair the BLM HV problem. Also have a PS transductor study planned during that maintenance period.

NuMI

• Running normally. Did a successful target scan on Wednesday.
• Still have an LCW leak, now ~160 gal/day. Hope to address this on Tuesday.

NuMI Experiments

• Running well.

Booster Neutrino

• Running well. Target scans went well.

BNB Experiments

• Running well.

Muon Rings

• Busy week.
• Loss studies.
• Accessed to make quad moves.
• Installed NMR probe.
• Studying orbits in Delivery ring.
• Sending beam to MC-1 on Owl shifts.

Muon Experiments

• Had a cryo issue on Wednesday that was recovered.
• Taking beam on owl shifts.

MTA

• Cavity has been reinstalled.

SY120, Neutrino Muon, Meson Test, Meson Center

• Running well.
• EE support will investigate noisy MT4WL readback.

SY120 Experiments

• Mtest is running fine.
• Plan to do beam studies next week.
• Hope to fill LAriat cryostat today.
• SeaQuest is running fine.

FAST

• Investigating flow restriction on Q480 magnet.
• Would like to do power testing of D600 & 604 dipoles today.
• 50MeV line elements have been tested.
• Experiment X115 has been certified and will be installed next week.
• CC1 &2 RF stations are pulsing.

Alignment

• Supported FAST/IOTA & Mu2E.

ESH&Q

• F sector chipmunk is due for cal this month. Will address it on Tuesday.

EE Support

• V710 power supply wasn't following reference and found a contactor that wasn't closing properly.
• Plan to investigate MI30L VCB on Tuesday.

Mechanical & Fluids

• Made up water for LRF5 skid the past three days.
• Making up water for the MI62 system due to the leak in the tunnel.

RF

• Requesting 15 minutes today to diagnose BRF9.

FESS

• Performing annual valve exercising.
• Chlorination of MINOS sump seems to be working well.
• F3 pond pump motor shows high vibration and it will likely need to be replaced.
• Testing Andy's Pond system (provides water to CMTF) because it tripped last night.
• Meeting with ComEd to inspect lines over Butterfield Road to make sure the delivery of the new detector can be accommodated.

Miscellaneous

• We are planning a short maintenance period for next Tuesday morning. Beam off at 0600 and we expect ~6 hours down. Worklist is open.
