Please join us for the D0 End of Run Celebration on Friday, September 30th from 6-10 PM!
Location and Directions
The celebration will take place at Gaslite Manor Banquets, 2485 Church Road, Aurora (~5 minutes drive from Fermilab Pine Street entrance). Driving directions from the Fermilab Pine St. entrance can be found here.
Dinner Menu
The buffet dinner will include:
- Tender Roast Beef Sirloin
- Based Chicken
- Mostaccioli with Marinara Sauce (vegetarian)
- Fresh Mixed Salad Greens
- Roasted potatoes
- Fresh Baked Breads
- Cake
- Ice Cream
Soft drinks, coffee and tea are available at no cost. A cash bar will be available all evening, and each attendee will receive two coupons for free alcoholic beverages from the bar.
Evening Schedule
The celebration will follow this general schedule:- The banquet hall will open at 6 PM
- Dinner service begins at 7 PM
- There will be speeches before dessert
- After desert, there will be a raffle drawing
- The evening will conclude with a Variety Show, which should conclude at 10 PM
- The banquet hall and the cash bar may remain open until 11:30 PM, if needed
Fees and Payment
Current graduate students are free, while the cost for their guests and all other participants is $30. Children under 12 years of age are also free. If you register after September 16th, there will be an additional cost of $5 for each attendee.
Payment is due via cash or check to Julie Saviano (or Barb Kristen in her absence) by Thursday, September 29th. Please make checks payable to "Dmitri Denisov". Julie (or Barb) will accept cash or check in person on the 6th floor of the D0 Assembly Building or check via mail at:

Call for D0 photos!
Do you have rare, interesting or amusing photos of the D0 detector or D0 people? If so, please consider contacting Michael Cooke to submit your best shots for use in a slideshow at the party. We are especially interested in photos of the Run I detector and personnel!
Commemorative T-shirts
One T-shirt will be provided free to each registrant attending the D0 End of Run Party (this does not include additional guests or family members that are part of a registration). You will indicate the preferred size of your free T-shirt when you register. Additional T-shirts for guests and family members are available to order as part of your registration for $8 each.
