This is the 12th in a series of workshops on the application of Soft-Collinear Effective Theory (SCET) to problems in particle and nuclear physics. SCET has been applied to heavy flavor physics, collider physics, heavy ion physics, and even quantum gravity. The goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers interested in SCET and related field theory methods (e.g. perturbative QCD) to discuss the latest developments in the field. In order to ensure an informal atmosphere with plenty of time for discussion, attendance is limited to about 70 participants.
SCET 2015 is hosted by Los Alamos National Laboratory. The official website is here.
