The goals of this retreat are to:
- Summarize current detector R&D at the lab
- Hear about innovative new technologies and proposals
- Plan how to best utilize the resources we have available for detector R&D
This will be a one-day affair. We will hear about current research in the morning (9 a.m. - 12 p.m.), hear about new ideas from 1-3 p.m. and reserve 2 hours at the end of the day for discussion. One result from the retreat will be a white paper summary geared towards management, outlining any conclusions we can come to.
