In early 2016 the LCLS-II SRF linac will start to come together. We expect both to receive the first newly fabricated 1.3 GHz cavities and to complete the first two cryomodules, #F1.3-1 and #J1.3-1, by May. These two milestones kickoff the production phase of the project. Production and test activities will last until summer 2018.

The Cavity and Cryomodule Test Workshop for LCLS-II (Fermilab, 29-30 October 2015) is intended to define standardized test plans, acceptance criteria, instrumentation standards and procedures for the vertical, horizontal and cryomodule tests for LCLS-II SRF production. There are four working groups: Vertical testing, Horizontal testing, and prototype / production Cryomodule testing.

The Workshop agenda has four sessions : 1) an opening plenary intended to capture experiences and put forth aspects that are special to CW operation (e.g. cryogenic heat-load performance and field emission radiation), 2) an open-agenda plenary discussion intended to synthesize test and acceptance qualification-related topics, 3) a working parallel session for preparing summaries and 4) a closing plenary session.
