What will our event processing frameworks look like seven years from now?

A main goal of this workshop is to finalize our contribution to the Community White Paper section on event processing frameworks. This paper includes discussion of

• scope issues and how frameworks ought to influence the computing model and workflow tools
• key constraints that will drive changes in frameworks: science, technology, funding
• what software frameworks will be like in the 2025 era and beyond and how they may evolve or undergo substantial change to meet our future needs
• an "R&D Roadmap".

Groups concurrently writing text into sections

Tuesday, 6 June

09:00 → 11:30 Put pieces together - reconciling added text

We will begin to reconcile text that has been added to the document

12:45 → 14:45 Continue writing

Groups continue adding text to sections

15:00 → 16:00 Plans for moving ahead through June

Discuss pathway to getting engaged,
getting the document into shape in a reasonable amount of time, and defining subgroup meetings to the ongoing work to complete this process
