Description
In this presentation we will show theoretical developments that facilitate the better reconstruction of light cone parton distributions starting from reduced Ioffe time pseudo distributions calculated on the lattice. We also present our new results of parton distributions for the nucleon and pion from an $N_{\rm f}=2+1$ simulation of Wilson-clover fermions with stout smearing and tree-level tadpole improved Symanzik gauge action at two different lattice spacings.
This is the first of two consecutive talks on the subject.
