Description

We present first preliminary results for masses and decay constants of charmed mesons using a valence Nf=2+1+1 fully-twisted tmQCD action combined with an Nf=2+1 non-perturbatively O(a)-improved Wilson sea sector. The impact of various techniques to reduce noise and improve spectroscopic resolution is presented, and the scaling of basic observables towards the continuum limit explored in a subset of CLS ensembles.
