Description

Abstract: Modern trends in experimental neutrino physics require novel approach to construction of efficient detectors. ArgonCube concept for large mass Liquid Argon Time Projection Chambers combines modularity, scalability, efficient use of cryogenic medium, unambiguous 3D charge readout with pixel array, efficient compact light collection system and several other technical advances. Details of the progress in realization of this approach by ArgonCube collaboration, and in particular at LHEP, University of Bern, as well as encountered challenges will be discussed in this presentation.
