Description
This workshop will provide an update on the status of the muon EDM search at Fermilab, and an upgrade plan of the Muon g-2 storage ring for a dedicated muon EDM run after the year 2020. We aim to bring together the expertise of silicon tracking detectors such as high voltage monolithic active pixel sensors (HV-MAPS) and experts from Muon g-2 experiment for the upgrade plan. Besides, the status of muon EDM searches around the world (J-PARC and PSI) will also be provided together with a detailed presentation about its physics motivation.
