Abstract: Tabletop physics provides some very sensitive tests of the Standard Model and beyond. One example that will be discussed is our recent ACME measurement of the electron's electric dipole moment. The measurement probed with a sensitivity that is 12 times greater than our previous measurement, which itself was also 12 times more sensitive than all measurements that came before.
