This meeting was comprised of many Tevatron beam experts that have experience with making statements about the abort gap beam in the Tevatron. The abort gap discussion is important to the crystal collimation because the past 2 EOS beam studies concluded that abort gap beam is mainly being channeled by the crystal. Questions were raised about if the off-momentum beam can be the cause of 1) the missing displacement at the E03 collimator or 2) the cause of the bigger channeling peak. There was much lively discussion but nothing concrete came from the discussion. People were going to go calculate the effects of off momentum particles and the channeling efficiencies and report back.
