We have now made arrangements for the 2011 Budget Officer’s meeting. As you know this year’s meeting will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana. The dates are Tuesday, June 28 through Friday, July 1, 2011. New Orleans is a great place to visit and we have been guaranteed the Government rate of $131 The Westin New Orleans Canal Place. For those who want to arrive early, this rate will be offered up to 3 days prior to contracted room block; based on availability.

If making your hotel reservation by phone, please refer to this meeting as the “2011 Budget Officer’s Meeting” to assure you get the special rate of $131.00/night plus tax. The deadline date to obtain this rate is Thursday, May 26, 2011 so do not delay! Reservations received after this cut-off date will be accepted on a space availability basis only.
We have been able to maintain last year’s registration fee rate of $275.
The Registration includes the use of the facilities at the Westin New Orleans Canal Place and audio visual set-up for the duration of the meeting It also includes a (working) welcome reception on June 28, morning and afternoon food breaks, food for working lunch on June 29 & 30, and a morning food break on July 1.

The opening reception will be on Tuesday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m.
We are working on plans for a dinner event on Thursday, June 30, 2011. We are planning a jazz dinner cruise on the paddlewheel Creole Queen http://www.creolequeen.com/. The cost will be as follows:

Age below 3 free
We need to get a rough head count in order to obtain a specific group rate. More information about the event will follow soon.
