Databases are a large discussion within DUNE right now:

The components (hardware) database  is running in development.
      - Authentication/Authorization is in place, but requires FNAL SSO through LDAP.
      - Component Types, Components, Test Types and Test forms are ready for testing.
      - First feedback from a Far Detector APA construction site
      - Design documentation for the REST API is now available on the wiki. We are currently working on implementing the API.

Preparation of the first draft of the ESNET document
      - we have a 0th order draft that has input from DAQ, physics, and computing
      - regular meetings and feedback from ESNet
      - will have a draft prepared by Aug 14th deadline

      WLCG Tools
      - CRIC and ETF development continue (this is mostly development on the DUNE script side of things)
      - FermiGrid configured to accept ETF DN, but haven’t yet seen jobs show up (to my knowledge)
      - Development with Andrew McNab of a benchmark code as part of the WLCG effort to provide updated HEP benchmarks

      Production
      - getting ready for PDSPProd4 (final name to be determined)
      - testing of GPUaaS on going to see if we can get results from Tingjun/Mike Wang/Nhan scaled up to production level

      Data management
      - Metadata server technical requirements are finalized and undergoing review from other collaborators.
      - Implementation plan for metadata server is in preparation, as well as a plan to deliver functionality similar to the SAM project to which users are accustomed.
      - Summer student work to show geographical distribution of Rucio data by country and data type is almost complete. Want this for ESNet document
      - All NP04 data from the completed run has been brought to FNAL and is on tape, we await the influx of NP02 data soon to come.

      HEPCloud
      - summer intern Elisabeth Petit-Bois submitted final poster and paper on development of Decision Engine Monitoring/GUI
Things are going. Funding from DOE won’t arrive before FY21.
