Description
The Hubble tension between the distance ladder and measurements of the early universe has persisted and grown in recent years, remaining unresolved despite intense scrutiny within the cosmology community. I will review some of the main datasets involved, discuss why coming up with a compelling explanation has proven difficult, and share some of the work I have led or contributed to in an attempt to figure out what’s going on.
