The XI Annual Conference of the Russian-speaking Academic Scientists Association (RASA) will take place world-wide on December 5-6, 2020. In view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will be held in a virtual format and around the clock, which makes it possible to combine in a single program the speeches of prominent diaspora scientists working in America, Asia and Europe. This year the Conference will be dedicated to outstanding scientists from the Struve family, astrophysicist Otto Ludwigovich and historian and economist Pyotr Berngardovich, whose 150th birthday is celebrated this year.
Scientific reports of leading Russian-speaking scientists from different countries and regions of the world, representatives of various fields of science - mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, humanities, etc. are planned at scientific sessions and round tables of the Conference. Among the speakers will be biologist Evgeny Koonin, economist Sergei Guriev, academician Alexander Sergeev, mathematician Stas Smirnov, immunobiologist Ruslan Medjitov, the 2020 laureates of the RASA George Gamow Prize Yuri Gogotsi and Mikhail Lukin. Traditionally, the Conference will become a platform for meetings and exchange of views between scientists, science organizers, innovators and entrepreneurs.
We invite you to take part in the Conference. Additional information will be communicated through our page http://www.rasa-usa.org/ , our Facebook page and our cooperating media. The Conference Program Committee would appreciate your suggestions for speakers (by 4 October 2020).
