* we're going to have RC6, two significant bug fixes (one is xrdtpc another dealing with proxy servers with ssl outgoing connections), cut postponed until Monday

XCache issues

* multi-user and checksums issue at Caltech that is being investigated and explained over the email, may take quite some effort to fix, progress/suggestions/ideas tracked under github #1294

ATLAS XCache deployment

* no news, running 5.1.0 RC4

CMS XCache deployment

XRootD transfers monitoring
---------------------------
* question on gstream python collector, clarified this is something different than fstream collector OSG is testing right now
* in the near future planned work on gstream collector for tcp metrics (gstream for plugins, configurable)

OSG StashCache deployment

* no news in SW, waiting for RC6
* no news for Amsterdam (JohnH reported over the email)

* submitting new project proposal on national XCache in Spain (200TB start with, currently 1TB) PIC, Madrid, few T2s and 1x T1
* discussion about having workshop to present sites how they can easily deploy XCache/origins (mostly for EU, the sites that are migrating away from DPM), Pepe would help prose this as part of pre-GDB
* got some hardware for xcache deployment at CERN, more news about next steps will follow
