Abstract: Event shape observables describe the patterns, correlations, and energy flow of hadronic final states in high energy processes. They have been widely investigated to study the various dynamical aspects of QCD in election-positron, lepton-proton, and proton-proton collisions. In this seminar, I will introduce the event shape observables energy-energy correlator (EEC) and transverse-energy-energy correlator (TEEC). They probe the angular correlations of energy depositions in detectors at high energy collider facilities. EEC and TEEC provide an opportunity of testing the transverse momentum dependent factorization of QCD without the dependence of the non-perturbative fragmentation functions. This talk will present to you our work about TEEC at the LHC and EEC/TEEC in DIS, where we achieved the prediction up to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic accuracy. EEC/TEEC observables provide a laboratory for precision studies of QCD and for studying the structure of factorization and factorization violation.
