Weekly operations meeting for sites doing DUNE computing

DUNE Ops April 19 2021

 

Tickets—several against various storage elements

(GGUS)

Discussions about voms permission, should there be a euro-VO

 

One at CERN—using EOS for multi-hop transfers.

 

Updates from np02/np04

No news from NP02 (Elisabetta)

Np04--nothing expected until fall, cold box at the point.

 

Production:

Close to done with the 1GeV MC request, everything submitted in pass 1.

Np02 reprocessing:  reprocessed small sample of data, now looking at it to understand

And validate before moving to reconstruction pass.

 

Data mgmt operation:

Daily tests now between FNAL and all other sites, tickets are open at several

Some issues with prestaging as shifting away from gridftp

 

All our tape data at CERN now behind CTA, not castor

First need to recover read-only rucio functionality.

 

Then to write, we need the lfn-to-pfn functionality which Igor has made a document

And James is working on.
