Description
The ICARUS neutrino detector is a 760 ton Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber (LArTPC). Together with a Cosmic Ray Tagger (CRT) system, this detector serves as the Far Detector in the SBN Program: a program based at Fermilab detected to resolve the sterile neutrino anomaly. As this detector will be operating at shallow depth, it will be exposed to a high flux of cosmic rays that could fake a neutrino interaction. In this talk, I will introduce the CRT system dedicated to reduce this cosmogenic background and will give a status of the commissioning of this system.
