2 Readout (FW & SW)

• No major updates. Still need to test updated test-build on server, then start HF integration if successful

 

Firmware (K. Manolopoulos)

• WIB2 Unpacker work ongoing
• FW TP new format completed and tested against new patterns
  • agreement between fw/sw in most case
  • found an issue with the test patterns and Ivana is working on fixing this
• Intermediate Release:
  • after fixing issues in 32b Wibulator and hf butler the fw sim tests are successful
  • Kunal run a ZCU hw test but results were wrong
  • Tony is working on redoing the hw test to replicate this, while Kunal is building a 5link ZCU project with an ILA for debugging
  • After discussion with Alessandro it was agreed not to include the new TP format in the upcoming releases until ph2 FLX is integrated with the existing fw master (which include 32baxis i/o and the old TP format).

3 Trigger Primitives (FW & SW)

- debugging and fixes for new firmware TP output format with Kostas

- testing new TP overlay in readout app, almost ready to commit changes to github branch

Bristol Test stand:

What has been done:

• tested felix v1.2.0 ups product prior to release
• trying to use the ZCU data generator firmware with 8 tx fibres (current used up to 4). second QSFP connected resulted in the initial tx fibres plugged in to stop sending light.

What needs to be done:

• reprogram zcu102 with data generator firmware and check if we can get all 8 fibres sending light.
