Target Possiblities to increase pion production: (Striganov)
Sergei presented MARS run work that was currently prompted by a presentation by Valeri L on Dec 7 which discussed optimizing the target material, length and thickness with the capability to of haing a smaller spot size at the target by installing a triplet at the end of the AP1 line. Sergei presented a target run the compared different target materials which represent a thin target disk. Inconel which is the current target material.
