1. TP output format (Ivana)
- Optimal format in software has fixed header, followed by variable payload
- Current/old FW format has variable sized part in between fixed size parts. New FW format has fixed part at the beginning, to match software.
- Preliminary results presented of time spent in different parts of TP post-processing, with old/new format
Comments
- RawWIBTp is to distinguish TPs from TPC vs PDS etc. Perhaps RawTPCTp is better.
- FW output header (from CRIF) should include a version number (AT)
- Would be good to get a more detailed breakdown of where the time is spent (RS)
- Don't think we learn much from slowdowns, esp at MHz rates (RS)
- Want to repeat with more realistic data (presumably radiologicals) (IH)
- Should move to a realistic configuration (10 links etc)
