      ND upstream 20m
Speakers: Krzysztof Furman (Queen Mary University of London), William Panduro Vazquez

      - Integration test running pacman readout with a sender in the background now fully operational

      - Requires the addition of larpix-control to the environment to be truly "automated", i.e. not require a human to pip install anything to use it

      - Apparently there is conflicts with including larpix-control, may or may not be solved for 2.10

      • Focus has been on the two features that are not yet part of the horizontal muon trigger.
      • Channel map: after more thought, unclear to me that the channel map should be anywhere near the TA - TD chain.
      • TAMaker receives TPs. TP class only has detid and channel members with which to establish a globally unique label to each channel. This is not what comes out of the WIB - for the WIB we have crate, slot and fibre which comes from the WIB header.
      • I think it should be TPMaker that interacts with the WIB fragment. Not sure this piece of software exists with or without the channel map. Not the job of the trigger algorithm designer to interact with the WIB fragment.
      • Raised this with Phil but he doesn't appear to have been on slack for some time now.
      • Looked at the way DQM do it - looks like they assume data has already been selected (TriggerRecord object passed to the class where the map lives).
      • TriggerCandidateMaker: Logic to aggregate TriggerActivities from different detector elements is almost done.
      • Looks for TAs in a given window of time creates candidates and eventually, therefore, a trigger decision based on total ADC and total number of channels.
      • Hoping to test this the best I can today with the limited testing infrastructure that exists and have everything in a remote branch so that Phil and others can use during the next couple of weeks if necessary.
      • Most of the algorithm is already well documented.
