Welcome to the "Big Question in Particle Physics" colloquium series, organized by the Snowmass Early Career Core Initiatives. This series aims to explore the underlying questions which motivate the research programs within Snowmass, and give examples and ideas of how early-career scientists might hope to address future research problems over the course of their careers in physics.

In this colloquium, we explore the big questions around the future of particle colliders such as: What's the physics case for the various proposed colliders? What challenges lie ahead? What's the timescale for the new generation of experiments?
