Abstract:

The High Energy Physics (HEP) community is approaching the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) upgrade, where the luminosity will increase by a factor of 10 beyond the LHC's value. This leads to a significant increase in proton-proton interaction per bunch crossing, which requires substantial detector upgrades. A crucial part of these upgrade efforts is the replacement of the tracker systems.

The speaker will present the ATLAS Phase2 ITk pixel detector development in detail, including detector module, data transmission chain, and readout system. The associative-memory-based Level-1 track trigger approach for CMS Phase2 upgrade will also be introduced. In the end, the speaker will discuss the most recent Higgs-charm coupling results from ATLAS.
