Description

Regularly repeating meeting of Snowmass energy frontier topical group EF03 (top and heavy flavor production). We have time for updates from people working on Snowmass studies. We will also have plenty of time for discussion.

The meeting will be on zoom at https://msu.zoom.us/j/99445309904?pwd=eXgwQThYUVNJUHY5MmJmcUJsRnczZz09 which is zoom room 99445309904 The meeting password on zoom is 202021.

Intro:

Note deadline to have first version of white paper on arXiv.

Guzzi:

- p 3, kinematic cutoff at rapidity of 9, which is the range relevant for Faser experiment
- to get to NNLO, would need to contact relevant people
  - Would need k-factors at the least, they would have to produce reduced PDF, which should be possible
- plan on a Snowmass contribution with what’s shown here at NLO
  - and possibly a second one at NNLO, but have to contact relevant people again
- This is for charm production (D mesons), could also do this for Z+b, but there NLO in QCD and NLO in EW - work with Doreen and Laura
