TOAD:
(from Naseem:) Have most of the approval to go to vacuum, but still waiting for some paperwork. Today testing out the air compressor (Alan’s) and valves. Will test vacuum pump, not connected to vessel. Also still working on charge readout DAQ set up. Camera still needs to be focussed. Hand clamps being made. Ioannis has tested the electronics with aggregator and TIP cars all in a chain. TIP card mounted in rack at FNAL.
(from Anezka:) Has fixed xyz channel mapping.
GOAT:
(from Tanaz:) Testing ALICE chamber at 1 atm. Have good gain with argon/CO2. Preparing to take data with Ar/CH4 (92/8). Gearing up for high pressure running.
(from Alan:) Can take data well at low gains, can probably go down to a gain of 100. When we take data with higher anode voltages, can maybe see gains up to 80k or 100k.
ECAL:
(from Vivek:) Leo has posted some code with some bug fixes. Vivek hasn’t looked yet, but will redo summer studies. Leo says should run single electron samples, which Vivek has done in the past.
Scintillation/Light collection: no update
Software: Tom made a sample of single interactions in gas for Federico to help him with point sorting. And will talk to Anezka about TOAD after meeting.
