ACORN Controls Upgrade Presentation
In this session, you’ll learn about the ACORN control system upgrade project. The presentation will cover the progress over the past year, updates to personnel on the project, and achievements in Research and Development building toward a conceptual design. The high-level aspirations and motivations of the project will also be presented, focusing on the context of the project within the Accelerator Directorate and the Critical Decision milestones with the DOE. In this All Engineers Retreat session, learn about the Matter-wave Atomic Gradiometer Interferometric Sensor (MAGIS-100). MAGIS-100 is a quantum sensor which will be installed in the existing 100-meter-deep shaft at the MINOS building.
