Thoughts on light detection at ND-GAr 20m
      Speaker: Carlos Escobar (FERMILAB)

Diego:  Need to figure out how to digitize such a large number of signals.  Seems like a nice opportunity to discuss what we need in terms of digitization.  Have possibility to disconnect noisy channels is very appealing.

Alfons asks what timing resolution is needed?  Diego says sampling at 7 nsec should be enough, but more comfortable with 4 nsec.  But don't know the exact resolution needed yet, but 1 nsec comes from matching to the ECAL.  Alfons also points out don't really need a digitizer, just a counter.

      Discussions will continue offline.

Tom points out that it looks like LArpix for photons.  Also asked about correlated noise removal.  In the past the noise correlated noise often looks like signal.  So how is this algorithm structured to not remove signal too?   Not totally clear at this point to people in the meeting.  Tom also asks how are they triggered?  In LAr need to use edge detection, not just a threshold.  We are ganging few channels than in LAr.

      Roundtable Updates 20m
Speakers: Alan Bross (Fermilab), Alfons Weber (JG-Uni Mainz & Fermilab), Diego Gonzalez Diaz, Naseem Khan, Tanaz Mohayai (Fermilab)

      TOAD:

Tanaz:  Trying to sort out a noise problem.  Trying to get an isolation transformer from GOAT this morning.

Kirsty:  Discovered yesterday that electronics boards that were working in UK are not working here.  They think it might be noisy power in FTBF (maybe due to magnets?).  Detector is currently closed.  Aggregator boards still need to go inside vessel.  Other problem is that ground in FTBF is not great.   Ioannis leaving soon.  Channel mapping  for frontend cards has been worked out.  They still need to be installed.    Diego mentioned using a ferrite coil around the power line.

      GOAT:

Tanaz:  Data taking went smoothly last week in Ar/CH4 and Ar/CO2.  A "soak" test is going on now to determine stability over a few days.  Currently stopped due to TOAD issues.  Diego wonders if they can run with Ar-CF4 1%?    But trying to get GORG tests going is higher priority in the near term, but will look into what can be done at FNAL.

      GORG:

Tanaz: GORG has moved to cleanroom.  Most things are ready except for connector for gas bottle.  Hopefully ORC next week.

      Light collection:

      Diego:  Work still continuing.

      ECAL:

      No update this week.

      Software:

Tom:  Was a talk on Monday at LBL meeting about restructuring of CAF effort.
