      Workshop report 10m
Speakers: Alysia Marino (University of Colorado Boulder), Patrick Dunne (Imperial College London)

Thanks to everyone who participated in workshop.  Link to slides is attached to this agenda. Wide range of subjects covered.   Nice ECAL talk from someone at Florida State.   Will probably revisit the detector requirements over the next few months.

Stefan and Michel will bring ND-GAr as a working group under phase 2 structure.  There is white paper that is being prepared.  We will approach many of the speakers to contribute to it.

We also want to change the meeting structure a bit, making more space for high-level physics talks:  long-baseline (and getting ND-GAr samples into LBL), BSM.  Will appoint some liasons.

So we will try to alternate between detector performance weeks and more high-level physics meetings.

No ND-GAr meeting next Tuesday (due to July 4th).  Next meeting July 11th.

We thank Alan and Alfons for their excellent leadership.

Tanaz asked about a possible liason to neutrino interactions systematics group.  Yes, will see if we need an official liason, but will plan on having updates from/with that group as well.

      ECal studies 15m
      Speaker: vivek jain (SUNY Albany)

Tom:  Long ago had dbscan cluster in LArsoft.  Not sure if it is still used.  Might be able to dig it up.

Leo: Valuable to try to think about something that starts with tiles and the propagates up to strips.

Patrick:  Maybe try to talk to some of the others who have expressed some interest in ECAL.  Try to make things more configurable before we go too far into reco.  With new particle gun samples maybe add ability to change number of strip and tile layers, rather than optimizing for this particular ECAL.  But Vivek doesn't know how to interface with GDML code.  Leo thinks maybe define a finite set of parameters for ecal and muon id geometry.   Anezka Klustova has some idea how to do some of this and she did some of this for TOAD.   Tanaz adds that  having a set of instructions from someone who has done this recently would be helpful. Patrick suggests including different parameters for upstream and downstream ECAL.

Tom: We list the readout strips in the code.  It isn't in GDML (used to be but took a long time to start up which makes debugging slow).  So code and GDML need to match versions.

So suggestion is that Leo, Vivek, Tom and Anezka follow up on this. Leo will think about defining parameters and will report back in a future meeting.

      Roundtable Updates 20m

TOAD update: No real update from Naseem since workshop and now there is a work stoppage.  Ioannis is doing vacuum tests.  There has been a full slice test at atmosphere on bench at Imperial.  Vacuum tests are next step.  Will look at signal-to-noise in the future.  For agregators and TIPs, moving/jiggling the cables can cause a short and disrupts communication.    Haven't identified issues with the FECs yet.

      ECAL: just heard from Vivek.

GORG:  Cannot do source tests due to work stop.  Has a human readable format for the data.  Needs to go to higher voltages for a clear Fe55 signal.

GOAT: Done for now.  Alan analyzing data. 10 bar operation is doable.  Paper will be prepared.

Light collection:  No update from Carlos.  Digital SiPM meeting planned this week.  Details can be sent to this list when they are known.

Software:  Tom says things going slowly from Ukranian colleagues who were looking into residuals.  Federico has started to look into this.

Vivek: Shouldn't forget about muID system!  Francisco was asking about this recently.  Should try to benchmark pi/muon ID at some point.
