    • 08:00 08:45
      Release Preparation 45m

      Proposed dates (see attached calendar):

      • 26-March for fddaq-v4.4.0 release candidate 1
      • 17-April for the final fddaq-v4.4.0 release build
      • some number of release candidates in between, each with a decreasing number of changes

Proposed changes which will be "code complete" for 26-March:

      • CRT software changes: this would include what already exists in PRs plus the changes to communicate with the CRT subsystem (e.g. startapp and stopapp), including whatever movement of code between repos will be done for fddaq-v4.4.0
      • the bulk of whatever changes we want to make for "trigger bits" in fddaq-v4.4.0
      • DQM deliverables
      • changes to support better information about "data_streams" for the offline
      • additional configurability for TPG

      Proposed goals for 'external' packages:

      • daphnemodules? by 26-March?
      • at this point, is all that remains to do with third-party externals is to compile them with the new CMake?

Proposed fixes for operational issues to be ready by 26-March:

      • better tardy-TP message; quiet-ing of the burst of these messages at the start of a run
      • investigate/provide a fix for "Object already exists" messages from TPWriter when the TP rate is low.

For other miscellaneous deliverables, let's talk about the open ones:

        • Will proceed to test K8s through the week outside of other tests
        • Changes in fddaqconf and nanorc pulled down into the new area
      • performance tests ongoing
        • will present tomorrow in core sw meeting tomorrow
        • TP testing to go on through rest of the week, aiming for two hours from ~10:00-12:00
      • Need to followup on testing of CCM PRs for nanorc, and for testing with the new microservices update
