Century-old thermo-catalytic processes are energy-intensive and are significant sources of greenhouse gases. These processes often heat catalysts, via carbon-based fuels, to high temperatures at high pressure to dissociate feedstock molecules in order to create radicals that can react to produce the desired product. Our compact e-beam accelerators look to change this process by creating high energy electrons tuned to the forward chemical process.
