Notes on changes that don't yet have Pull Requests...

• [Marco] needed update in daphnemodules, additional metric, rate published by DAPHNE, need firmware change to populate the metric, possibly FW ready by COB Tuesday, software work maybe on Wednesday, seems do-able by Friday.
• [Wes, Artur] possibility to ignore overlapping, subsequent TC(s)
• [Jon] ctbmodules small changes, word matching error fix, reduce error to warning, additional configuration parameters exposed to top-level schema ([fd]daqconf change?), may add some metrics
• [Wes, Artur, others] longer readout windows for PDS?  (to be discussed at the DataSelection meeting on Tuesday)
• [Kurt] Changes related to dropping late TPs in the TPStreamWriter, including the addition of metrics to indicate if/when this is happening and to control whether a warning message is generated.  Send info to Marco about new metrics as part of Pull Request.
• [Kurt, Roland, Wes] updates to time-tick values in FDFakeCardReader to help fix the PDS part of the readout_type_scan
• [Kurt] updates to the expected fragment sizes in the PDS part of the readout_type_scan

Hi everyone,

We've had a rather successful first week of beam for ProtoDUNE-HD II, with good performance from the DAQ throughout. There are some number of patches that are ready or being planned, focusing on stable operation over the whole summer run, which we want to collect in a patch release before the beam returns in a little under two weeks.

We are planning for the following timeline for the patch release:

• End of day Friday July 5: deadline for all PRs submitted, and approved, and merged to patch/fddaq-v4.4.x branches, and repositories tagged.
• Monday July 8 @ 10:00 CDT / 17:00 CEST: completion of testing at NP04, and handoff for the build and release
• Tuesday July 9, morning CERN time: deployment of release at NP04 and final validation

We plan to have release coordination meetings on Monday July 1 @ 09:30 CDT and Wednesday July 3 @ 07:30 CDT to approve merges to the patch branches and discuss any needed coordination for the release. If you have prepared or are preparing updates for the NP04 run, please plan to attend these meetings. If you cannot, please communicate with us directly.

As a reminder, please make all PRs against the patch/fddaq-v.4.4.x branches in the repositories, and please do not merge approved PRs into the patch branches until they've been discussed in a release coordination meeting or with explicit approval from Wes or Kurt so we can coordinate multiple updates across repositories as needed. Also, please select the fddaq-v4.4.x Target Release within the DUNE-DAQ Tracking Project fields in each PR.  This will help us keep track of the changes.
