• Optimization of networking in Readout and Dataflow
• 10Gb network problems
• Improving the stability of TPSet creation and handling
  • Today's comments focus on the TPStreamWriter
  • recall that the TPSW bundles TPs in time slices that are 1 second long, and it waits for one second (wallclock elapsed time) of no-new-TPs in a given time slice before it writes out that time slice
  • reminder that the plan is to continue to discard late TPs at the TPStreamWriter, and A) make the warning messages optional, and B) provide metrics that can be used to tell when this happens.
  • we have PRs in daqdataformats, hdf5libs, and dfmodules with these changes.
