Nilay: Slow control API is not working for a while, so I cannot work on SCDB at the moment.  

in lxplus, it gives me following:

curl: (7) Failed to connect to vm-01.cern.ch port 8080: Connection refused

The issue is for np04 (8080). But np02 (8081) is working.
