Description

The High Brightness Electron Source Lab (HBESL) at Fermilab was reconfigured from the previous A0 facility to develop novel techniques to produce and diagnose high brightness electron beams whose applications are found in many fields. In this poster we present the recent developments at HBESL in regards to the new results on photo- and field emission studies from different cathodes. We also discuss the design and the process of characterizing electron beams at the facility and the design of future experiments like Inverse Compton Scattering (ICS) for the production of X-Rays using low energy electron beams.
