  • 21 cm Cosmology Workshop/ Tianlai/BAO collaboration meeting:
    • - The best week seems to be at end of July.   We need to check whether there are conflicting meetings before our next call.    (Note that the Line Intensity Mapping 2025 meeting in France will be June 2-6.)
    • - The meeting will be hosted by Prof Say Feng at Xian University (is this correct?).   He plans to set up the website as soon as possible in order to alert the community.  Will add features later.   As last year, documents for foreign speakers need to be prepared early.
    • - Haijun Tian, who hosted our meeting last summer at Hangzhou, has funding from NSFC to have a summer school, which he proposes to run during the 2 weeks just before the Workshop.   Will be a combination of tutorials (probably by postdocs) and review talks (probably more senior people).   Some people will likely attend both the summer school and the Workshop.
    • - We need a compact SOC that can make decisions quickly.   Please send names of possible SOC members to Xuelei within the next week.
  • Jixia has written a draft of a paper on Tianlai drone measurements.   Xuelei will share a link.
  • Calibration of phased arrays using 'self-holography'.  Peter introduced the attached 2 papers on applying this technique to the SKA-Low prototype in Australia.  A NASA proposal is being developed in the US by Peter, Greg, Albert, and others to investigate applying this approach to futuristic Dark Ages lunar or space-based arrays.   Xuelei recommends reviewing the Tianlai FRB beamforming paper for another approach
  • Next zoom call about TNCCS is Tues Jan 14, usual time
  • Next Tianlai/BAORadio call is Tues Jan 21, usual time (New Year in China is the following week, Jan 29)
