The Fermilab Academic Lectures provide pedagogical introductions to topics of high current interest in particle physics and allied fields for graduate students, postdocs, and other inquiring minds. The 2013–2014 edition will focus on the scientific goals of ultrasensitive experiments and illuminate how the interplay among diverse experiments can lead us toward a more complete understanding the physical world. Each short course presents the theoretical background and today's issues, a survey of past experiments—both techniques and results—and a look at the next steps. Classes  (60-minute lecture plus ample time for discussion) will normally be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 to 12:30 in Wilson Hall. Courses include 
I. Muon Anomalous Magnetic Moment: September 17 – October 3
II. Lepton Flavor Violation: October 8 – 17
III. Ultrasensitive Measurements with Electrons: November 19 - 21
IV. Dark Matter: December 10 - 19
V. Neutrinos: January 14 - February 27, 2014; April 15, 22, 24; May 20 and 23
VI. The Cosmic Microwave Background: March 4 - 18
VII. Electric Dipole Moments: April 1 - 10
VIII. Quark Flavor Physics: May 6 and 8
Streaming versions of the lectures are made available soon after each lecture, for review or off-site participation.
