MicroBooNE Offline Software Retreat

US/Eastern
Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA

Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA

Sam Zeller (FNAL), Tingjun Yang (FNAL), Wesley Ketchum (Los Alamos National Laboratory)
Description
The goal of this retreat is to have a workshop for software developers to come together and work on the pieces of MicroBooNE's simulation, reconstruction, and analysis framework that will push us into being ready for our first data. While the workshop will be at a level requiring some experience with LArSoft and our current simulation and reconstruction methods, the workshop is open to any MicroBooNE collaborator who wants to get directly involved with the effort. Given the recent LArSoft framework transition, we intend to hold some entry-level LArSoft tutorials and walkthroughs in the very near future in order to get new contributors up to that "some experience" level, so please don't hesitate to register. More information, including details of the meeting room and schedule, may be found to the left.
