We would like to invite you to participate in the JINA-CEE Frontiers in Nuclear Astrophysics Meeting to be held on March 23-25, 2015, at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development, Michigan State University, 3535 Forest Road, Lansing, MI.
We would like to invite you to participate in the JINA-CEE Frontiers in Nuclear Astrophysics Meeting to be held on March 23-25, 2015, at the James B. Henry Center for Executive Development, Michigan State University, 3535 Forest Road, Lansing, MI.
This is the fifth in a series of former JINA and now JINA-CEE meetings to bring together the JINA-CEE participants, collaborators, and other interested researchers in nuclear physics, astronomy, and astrophysics to discuss progress and future directions related to the understanding of the origin of the elements and neutron stars. One main goal of the meeting is to encourage students and post-docs to share results of their research with the community. All participants are strongly encouraged to contribute either a 15-minute oral presentation or a poster.
A reception will be held on Sunday, March 22, from 6-9pm. The meeting will start at 9am on Monday, March 23 and will end at 12pm on Wednesday, March 25. It will comprise of a total of ten sessions of oral presentations and a poster session.
