A tour of FRIB has been organized for conveners on Thursday, 17 December in the morning. FRIB is now in its construction phase and the tour will give you the opportunity to see the construction site, the new SRF processing and testing facility, and the main linac components in their production phase. If you would like to attend the tour, please confirm it by marking yes when logging into the JACoW SPMS at https://appora.fnal.gov/pls/linac2016/profile.html and registering for the SPC-1 Meeting.
The selection of oral presentations will be done in four parallel sessions, corresponding to four main classifications (01- Electron accelerators and Applications; 02 - Proton and ion accelerators and applications; 03 - Technology; 04 - Beam dynamics, extreme beams, sources and beam related technologies). The larger the number of conveners representing different countries, the easier it will be to provide an interesting and well balanced program.
If you did not register yet, I encourage you to do so soon by logging into the JACoW SPMS at https://appora.fnal.gov/pls/linac2016/profile.html. Check “Propose invited orals” and click on “Submit” to access the LINAC 2016 Abstract List page. If you need an invitation letter for requesting a VISA, please check the dedicated button in the user profile page and submit your request. Then click on “SPC-1 Meeting Registration” and complete the SPC-1 Meeting Registration Form. Submission of proposals will be enabled in mid October.
