Crew Chief Operations Summary

  • Good weekend. Some Booster RF issues. See slide.
Linac
  • Quiet weekend.
Booster
  • Running well except RF sparking. Need to change out board on LLRF. 15-20 minutes est. $17 and one-shot studies.
Booster Neutrino
  • Running well.
BNB Experiments
  • Running well.
Main Injector & Recycler
  • Quiet weekend. P1 line vacuum burst. Recycler LAM52 overtemp. Studies later this month/week
  • Cycle time to 1.2 seconds and moving infection time.
NuMI
  • Running well.
NuMI Experiments
  • Running well.
Muon Rings
  • Took orbit data over the weekend. Now working on shunts. Trying to get circulating beam. Access for instrumentation work. Beam later today.
SY120
  • Good weekend. M03 experiment uninstall either today or tomorrow. (Would prefer controlled access for uninstall)
SY120 Experiments
  • Running smoothly. Small installation on Wednesday in Mtest.
ES&H
  • Nothing to report.
EE Support
  • Nothing to report.
Mechanical
  • I:IP521 faulted. MP7 chiller online. Replaced ArCO2 bottle @ Muon Campus.
Fluids
  • Nothing to report.
RF
  • Will work with Booster to understand RF sparking issues. Incidental MIRF & RRRF trips.
MTA
  • Running well. Will pull cavity for work, then re-install.
