Linac

  • Running well with few problems.
Booster
  • Good weekend.
  • Will continue Laser Notcher commissioning and Chandra will be doing some parasitic studies.
Booster Neutrino
  • Running well.
  • Tom Kobilarcek is BNB coordinator this week.
BNB Experiments
  • Running well.
  • Cindy Joe is Microboone coordinator this week.
Main Injector & Recycler
  • Ran well.
  • Request RR TBT study on $E0 cycles.
NuMI
  • LCW loss rate is a little higher than before, so if time is available they would like to search for a leak.
NuMI Experiments
  • Running well.
Muon Rings
  • Running well with a few issues already mentioned in CC report.
  • Preparing for a chipmunk TLM study on Wednesday.
Muon Experiments
  • Exciting weekend.
  • Saw real experimental data with 10K events in the calorimeter.
  • Having some problems with ring quads that required going open access this weekend and today.
SY120
  • Meson LCW issues required bringing another tower online.
  • It may be possible to reduce heat load by running in different modes if need be.
SY120 Experiments
  • LAriat is closed up and taking liquid argon today.
  • SeaQuest is taking data.
  • MTEST will be installing a new experiment on Wednesday.
Mechanical
  • F4 heat exchanger test cleaning is in progress.
Fluids
  • Running well.
  • Made up water at MI65.
RF
  • Running well.
Controls
  • MI60S #3 VME crate supply was replaced.
  • Meson crates 14 and 18 power supplies were replaced this morning.
  • Working with MI group to get the new G-2 timing to operate correctly with other machine cycles.
FESS
  • Dealing with high water temps.
  • Meson cryo strainer work is complete.
  • Had some issues at CUB, probably due to more of the "Minos muck" getting into the system.
  • Replaced some breakers for the industrial buildings.
  • Minos sumps are now all pumping close to design capacity, so it appears that the chlorination is having a positive effect on the muck problem.
