Description
The Federal Electronics Challenge (FEC) is a partnership program that encourages federal facilities and agencies to purchase greener electronic
products, reduce impacts of electronic products during use, and manage
obsolete electronics in an environmentally friendly way. The Office of the Federal
Environmental Executive and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency will award the National Renewable Energy Laboratory the Silver-Level Award for the Federal Electronic Challenge (FEC) in June 2008. Gain insight to NREL's
electronic stewardship actions undertaken in adopting energy friendly practices and the requirements to qualify for a Gold, Silver, or Bronze FEC Award.
