Hi Young DUNE, I'm Jeremy Hewes – I'm a UC postdoc, and I've worked on DUNE in various capacities since I started as a graduate student six years ago. I've seen first-hand that young scientists have always been a driving force behind the experiment, and as liason to the spokespeople, my primary role would be to advocate for those younger collaborators who make up Young DUNE. I would ensure that our needs are communicated to collaboration leadership, whether those needs be academic (providing feedback on the climate within Young DUNE, raising any concerns or suggestions from the community) or social (implementation of the code of conduct, seeking resources for support structures). I would also work to organise events for members of Young DUNE at collaboration meetings, focused on professional development as well as potentially exploring other topics such as mental health and labour. I'd love to have the opportunity to continue Bea's great work in representing Young DUNE to the collaboration – thank you for your consideration!! Jeremy
