Transportation from Sea-Tac Airport to the UW
Sea-Tac International Airport is located about 20 miles from the University. Driving from the airport to the University or vice-versa usually takes less than a half hour.
Sound Transit has a light rail option that goes from Sea-Tac Airport all the way to the University of Washington. The cost is approximately $3.25 and takes about 45 minutes.
A taxi ride from the airport to the University usually costs approximately $50.
Seattle has a great bus service, refer to Metro Transit buses.
If you rent a car (or bring your own) please refer to UW Parking Services for parking permits and information.
Shuttle Express provides 24-hour door-to-door van service to and from the airport. Courtesy phones are available at Sea-Tac airport for Shuttle Express.
