- FNAL updates:
Donato: SSR1 pCM to be tested in about 2 weeks time
Donato: SSR2, PO for bare cavity to be issued in approx 1-2 weeks time, Nb procurement on track with Ningxia
Cristian: SSR2 solenoid FDR to be held in the second half of July, good progress with design and drawings at BARC
Srinivas/Vinay: question about cryomodule design for SSR2 when BARC can start designing their pCM, meeting with Lia may be needed.
Paolo: Summary presentation about processing plans for SSR2 cavities
BARC updates:
Vinay: still in lock-down, released some drawing for Nb-Ti welds but not much activity also at vendors due to COVID-19 lock-down.
Srinivas: processing plans, will probably follow FNAL plans, facilities for processing and testing of SSR2 not yet built at BARC, most likely cavities will be processed at RRCAT updated facility. Testing at RRCAT as well. BARC will then build their own facilities, but not necessarily in time for the R&D phase of SSR2 cavities, for production phase very likely.
BARC is requiring a dedicated meeting to discuss SSR1 cryomodule documentation and dates to start SSR2 cryomodule design.
